Oh the weather outside
…is frightful. But the fire is so delightful.
It started snowing about an hour ago. Correction: it started hailing about an hour ago. After about ten minutes of small hail, it switched to light snow and then heavy snow. Granted, I’m from the south so I probably don’t “really” know what heavy snow is. Regardless, the roads, yards and all stationary objects are coated.
Today was a short day of school and I couldn’t be happier. Until the quarter gets going, I have a little more free time. I’m trying to use it to get ahead while I can, but I’m still factoring in some goof-off time. I know it won’t last. I got out of class at 10:30 today and then came home. I’m glad I did since now I won’t have to wait in the snow for the bus.
Here are some pics of our front yard about 20 minutes after the snow started. I should probably go study now.
Hey Sarah,
Its funny you mention “goof off time” having to be factored in. Here at the Owen School of the quarter is only a week old and most of us are already behind, but we’re not yet willing to give up the free time to start the real studying.
I’ve been reading your blog for a while now. In the spirit of National Delurking Week I thought I’d leave a comment to let you know that people are reading.
