We won!
It turned out that our team beat the other three teams in our section. Yay! Like I said before, I thought we had done well but we weren’t sure that we had won. The only bad thing is that the room where we had the awards was extremely hot. So we sat there for an hour and a half learning about how to improve our argument and presentation skills in the near future. Most of us were still in our suits and we were roasting. By the time they announced the awards, I felt like I was soaking in a puddle of sweat. Nice. Oh well. I looked quite bright-eyed and rosy cheeked for the photo.
After the awards, I went out with some of my classmates for happy hour. Then we returned to campus for the MBA happy hour….then I went out for Mexican food and margaritas with Danny. It’s not a bad way to start the weekend.
Congrats! Our team won too.
And you’re right; it was incredibly hot and stuffy in there. When we went out outside, I greatly appreciated the wind and the cold rain — well, for a few brief moments.
For some reason, I keep picturing you up at Seattle Grace (the Grey’s Anatomy hospital)… your experiences totally remind me of theirs, except with yours, no one’s life is at stake.
